About Us

Your new favorite yogis -  Hunter and Melissa

Hunter Hall is the co-founder of Cherry Yoga and the adventure-driven spirit behind every journey we take. A U.S. military veteran, Hunter spent years living within structure, discipline, and high-pressure environments, which shaped his strength and sharpened his leadership. His journey away from the 9-to-5 hustle and into purpose has been a powerful reclamation. One that now fuels his passion for guiding others toward alignment and freedom.

Hunter brings a strong, grounding energy to Cherry Yoga which balances stillness with movement, and structure with spontaneity. He’s most alive in natural elements, especially near water, oceans, lakes, rivers, where clarity flows so the wild, healing power of nature takes over.

His retreats often feature out of the ordinary adventures, open land, and the kind of spaces that invites transformation through exploration.

At Cherry Yoga, Hunter is the masculine edge of the experience: equal parts grit and grace, discipline and play. Whether he’s guiding a beachside workout or scouting the next destination, his goal is to help you reconnect with your instincts, break through limitations, and discover what’s possible when you move with courage.

Melissa Patino is the co-founder of Cherry Yoga and the heart-centered guide behind the soulful movement and healing you’ll find on every retreat. A lifelong traveler and teacher, Melissa’s journey has taken her across the world from luxury spas to barefoot jungle shalas, where she’s held space for people navigating change, healing, and deep transformation. Her background in yoga, meditation, and wellness coaching comes to life through classes that are real, raw, and rooted in truth.
Melissa meets people exactly where they are - especially those carrying unspoken stress, trauma, or emotional weight in their bodies. With an intuitive eye and a nurturing, no-fluff style, she creates space for release, self-discovery, and long-lasting shifts. She teaches real yoga for real humans. Always with humor, presence, and deep body wisdom.
At Cherry Yoga, Melissa is the soul of the experience: part healer, part motivator, always tuned into what’s needed most. Whether she’s leading a meditation under the stars or helps hold space during a breakthrough moment, her mission is to help you soften, open, and come home to yourself, Again and Again.

Our Mission

Cherry Yoga Studio was born from a shared vision: to create the kind of wellness experience we both searched for. Real, Honest, and Transformative.

After years of pushing through burnout, navigating major life pivots, and waking up to what actually matters, we craved something deeper than studio classes and surface-level self-care. We wanted movement that felt like medicine, travel that cracked us open, and community that didn’t feel like a performance. So we built it.

Cherry Yoga is our way of giving people a space to come home to themselves. A space where discipline and intuition meet, where healing is human, and where real transformation happens, sometimes through a yoga class, sometimes in a moment of stillness under the stars in a new exotic place.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s not about escaping your life - it’s about shifting it.
And it’s definitely not just yoga. It’s a full-body exhale, a wild yes to yourself, and a powerful return to your truth.

                                     Welcome to Cherry.

Our Core Values

🍒 Body Positivity
We believe every body is worthy of movement, strength, and celebration. Our studio welcomes all shapes, sizes, and abilities, encouraging confidence, self-love, and presence on and off the mat.

🍒 Mind Growth
We teach more than poses—we teach perspective. Cherry Yoga is a space to expand self-awareness, challenge old narratives, and grow into the most intentional, grounded version of yourself.

🍒 Discipline Through Resistance
Growth happens when you show up—especially when it’s hard. We honor the courage it takes to move through discomfort and build resilience, one practice at a time.
